The US Dollar Index (DX) is computed using a trade-weighted geometric average of six foreign currencies against the dollar. Those currencies are:

• Euro

• Japan/yen

• United Kingdom/pound

• Switzerland/franc

• Canada/dollar

• Sweden/krona
